Phantom KT1640

The Phantom KT1640's 2560 x 1664 pixel resolution provides exceptional detail rendition with the ability to track subjects with greater accuracy and across a larger area than traditional 1 Mpx high-speed cameras. BSI sensor architecture provides a QExFF rating of 88.7% (mono), ensuring optimal response for subjects with limited available light. 

Digital Image Correlation (DIC), Time-resolved PIV, and Schlieren for flow visualization are examples of fundamental high-speed imaging techniques that benefit from increased pixel resoltuion. 

Phantom KT-Series cameras include premium features to enable a variety of applications including:

• Programmable I/O to assign and modify the hardware signal interface for advanced synchronization. Users can interface with data acquisition (DAQ) systems and other measurement sensors, which can be recorded and viewed as metadata in Cine files.
• Binned mode combines pixels which effectively increases vertical resolution at the camera's highest frame rates 
• On-camera controls, CF Express and video outputs enable a standalone untethered workflow
